Palestinian Killed by Israeli Army in Clash

A day after U.S. peacemakers praised “a new spirit” in the Middle East, Israeli troops shot and killed a Palestinian rioter during clashes in the tensely divided West Bank city of Hebron. Fifteen Palestinian stone throwers were injured, and a news photographer was in serious condition after he was shot in the back of the head with a rubber-coated bullet.
