First American Unit Acquires Monroe Title

First American Financial Corp. said its title insurance unit has acquired Monroe Title Co. in Ramrod Key, Fla. Financial details were not disclosed. Monroe will retain its name and current staff, according to First American, a Santa Ana-based provider of real estate-related financial and information services.
