Anaheim, generally thought of as a city of tourism, pro sports and convention activities, ranked as the second-best place in California to expand or relocate a business, according to a recent Outlook magazine poll.
Also making the top 10 list was Santa Ana, at No. 8.
Anaheim was recognized with the award as being a worldwide hub for entertainment tourism, manufacturing and conventions. The city also was selected for its diverse and skilled labor force, which enjoys housing choices from affordable to luxury as well as a variety of leisure, recreational and cultural arts activities.
The city was outranked only by San Francisco.
Each year, the magazine honors 30 California cities with its Golden Bear award based on such factors as quality of life, educational opportunity, business incentives and housing.
