Paul Tait’s fumble recovery at the Pasadena Poly 47 led to Village Christian’s only touchdown--an eight-yard run by Jason Stauffer with 1:47 left in the third quarter.

Stauffer gained 40 yards in 18 carries.

Village Christian quarterback Neil Gunn completed six of 15 passes for 73 yards, but missed on his last seven attempts.

Village Christian held the Panthers to 207 yards and forced four fumbles, but recovered only one.
