ICU Medical Income, Sales Increase

ICU Medical Inc., San Clemente-based maker of medical connectors, said fourth-quarter net income rose 25% as sales increased 13%.
Net income totaled $2 million, or 24 cents a share, for the three months, up from $1.6 million, or 21 cents a share, a year ago. Sales increased to $9.8 million from $8.7 million.
For the year, net income gained 26% to $7.2 million, or 86 cents a share, from $5.7 million, or 71 cents a share, for 1997. Sales advanced 31% to $39.8 million from $30.4 million.
