The Ice Dogs could do little Wednesday night as the Indianapolis Ice scored three unanswered goals to end the second period en route to a 4-1 victory before 2,199 at Long Beach Arena.
Dmitri Leonav scored the lone goal for the Ice Dogs (33-21-3), who remain second in the Western Conference’s Southwest division.
The Ice (19-27-10) ended a 15-game losing streak.
