Sheriff’s Deputies Seek 4 Named in Arrest Warrants

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public’s help in locating four people wanted on warrants in connection with crimes ranging from violating probation to battery and vandalism.
Simon William Cope, 21, is wanted on suspicion of battery, vandalism and possession for sale and transportation of marijuana. A fourth warrant was issued for violating the terms of his probation from a previous vandalism conviction.
Cope is 5 feet 10, 160 pounds, and has blond hair and gray eyes. His last known address was in the 11500 block of Poppyglen Court in Moorpark.
Markham Mattecheck, 43, is wanted for violating his probation from a grand theft conviction in 1997.
Mattecheck is 5 feet 10, 170 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes. His last known address was in Ventura.
Randy Allen Howard, 43, violated the terms of his probation after he was convicted of cultivating and possessing marijuana for sale, authorities said. Two warrants have been issued.
Howard is 6 feet tall, 155 pounds, and has blond hair and blue eyes. His last known address was on Creek Road in Ojai.
Brenda Fay Barnard, 35, has failed to comply with the terms of her probation after she was convicted of possession of drugs, authorities said. Barnard also uses the last names Heimbuch, Pickard and Richard.
Barnard is 5 feet 7, 170 pounds, and has blond hair and blue eyes. Her last known address was on Anacapa Street in Ventura.
