Virginia Wilson, president of the Los Alamitos Unified School District’s Board of Education, will now speak for her elected colleagues across the county. Wilson this week was elected to the board of directors of the California School Boards Assn., where she will represent the county’s school boards.
“This is an exciting opportunity for me,” Wilson said, adding that she looks forward to having an impact on state and federal legislation.
