Mayor John M. Gullixson is expected to announce at tonight’s City Council meeting that a group of church officials have approached him with the idea of building a private Christian high school to combat overcrowding in public schools. City officials have been eyeing property on Bastanchury Road near Plumosa Drive, owned by Shell, for a high school site. Although the idea of a public high school has been discussed, there are no plans to build one in Yorba Linda, officials with Placentia- Yorba Linda Unified said.
