The City Council recently approved accepting $291,000 in emergency shelter funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The money will be used to renovate shelters, to cover maintenance and utility costs, and to pay for food, health care and homeless prevention programs. Information: (714) 647-5360.
