United Airlines, which uses templates to block oversize carry-ons at airport security checkpoints, has ordered new templates with a cutout that it says will allow most garment bags through without folding or rolling. The templates are expected to be in place by the end of the month. . . . The Main Street Electrical Parade, a Disneyland mainstay that ended in 1996, has reopened at Walt Disney World after a transcontinental journey. . . . The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, which earlier announced it would shut down starting June 14 for three months for renovations, said it is postponing the project for an environmental assessment and will remain open all summer.
