* Re “Valley Secessionists Outline Proposed Breakup of L.A.,” June 2: Most large corporations find that mergers produce economic improvements while breaking a company into smaller components results in less efficiency. We should keep this in mind.
Also, we voters would like to be assured that the members of the secession group do not have a conflict of interest or political ambitions. Therefore, it would be only proper for all those actively working for Valley secession, now and in the future, to sign a document stating that they have no political aims and will not accept any future municipal jobs.
