Hamburger Ads Are a Turnoff

So results at Carl’s Jr. restaurants are a “surprising disappointment” to CKE [“CKE Warns That Poor Sales Bite Into Earnings,” June 3]. It’s no surprise to me. Just look at their advertising campaign that shows people slobbering all over themselves and their surroundings. The first time I saw one of those “all over the place” commercials, I vowed never to patronize another Carl’s Jr., and evidently many other people did the same.
