The City Council is expected to vote on the 1999-2000 city budget following a public hearing Tuesday. The proposed budget is $65.5 million, a decrease of $1.76 million from the 1998-1999 budget, which was increased because of the city’s expenditures on the water tank that ruptured in September and the Little Saigon protests in February and March.
