Byron Schweigert of Fountain Valley has been named chief executive of Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. Long Beach Memorial is the second largest not-for-profit community hospital in the state and part of Memorial Health Services, which includes four hospitals in Orange County. Schweigert had been senior vice president of administrative services at the hospital.
