The Laguna Beach City Council will hold a workshop with city and county water quality experts at 6 p.m. tonight at City Hall, 505 Forest Ave.
Local water quality activists and representatives from several civic associations will also be present to discuss the current state of pollution in Laguna’s waterways and ocean beaches.
Environmentalists want the city to do more to combat pollution and to hold neighboring cities responsible for contributing to Laguna’s beach pollution problems.
City officials plan to outline what is currently being done and what is planned for the future to remedy the situation.
