Foothill, Football
He set an Orange County rushing record, gaining 527 yards, and scored five touchdowns to lead the
Knights to their first victory of the season, 46-12, over winless
Orange in a Century League
game. He carried the ball 21 times (25.1-yard average) and posted the second-highest rushing total in Southern Section history. In 1995 Ronney Jenkins of Oxnard Hueneme rushed for 619 yards.

Villa Park, Water Polo
Had three goals in victory over rival Foothill. The Spartans won second consecutive Century League title.

Aliso Niguel, Football
Rushed for 351 yards and five TDs as Wolverines beat defending Southern Section champion Woodbridge.
Mary Frausto
Edison, Field Hockey
She led Edison to its second consecutive Tournament of Champion’s title and first undefeated, untied season.
Frausto scored the lone goal in the Chargers’ 1-0 victory over Marina,
on a pass from Nicole Harrison six minutes into the second half. She was also responsible for Edison advancing to the title game, scoring the only goal in the Chargers’ semifinal victory over Huntington Beach.

San Clemente, Volleyball
Led the Tritons to the South Coast League title with 11 kills in a three-game victory over Mission Viejo.
* Christine Krause
Pacifica, Cross-Country
Broke a 13-year-old course record at Mile Square Park at the Garden Grove League championships.
