Sentencing in Stabbing death

* Re “Man Admits to Fatal ’93 Stabbing of Teen,” Aug. 26.
Every 15-year-old with a brain knows that it is criminal, wrong and immoral to commit murder. The fact that Jose Castillo can only serve four years because he was a “child” when he murdered Jesse Strobel makes me sick.
What makes me sicker is Castillo’s defense team casually accepting his admission of guilt so that they can spend time preparing for the “more serious” set of charges resulting from another murder with which he is charged.
What is more serious than Castillo’s taking the life of an intelligent, handsome, beloved young man with his whole life ahead?
