Orange County Supervisor Todd Spitzer met Wednesday with about 70 of his constituents at the Organization of Unified Homeowners’ informal dinner at the Main Street Restaurant. City Councilman Mark Schwing was among the attendees.
At the community watchdog group’s dinner, Spitzer spoke about the city’s Imperial Highway widening project, which has been under scrutiny by residents. He also offered an update on the Esperanza Road railroad crossing, a $90-million underpass or overpass project to be built in 2003.
Proceeds from the buffet dinner, which cost $15 per person, went to the Yorba Linda Civic Light Opera. The theater group is trying to raise money for its 2000 season.
