The Placentia-Yorba Linda School District is scrambling to set up a computer with Internet access in every classroom by September.
The ambitious goal, which is being paid for mostly by federal grant money, has been completed at six schools, but work is still underway at 19. “Just wiring the schools for Internet access was a two-year project,” said Sharon Cordes, director of technology for the school district.
