The Newport Beach City Council, at tonight’s meeting, will hear a status report on Santiago Drive speed reduction efforts. In October, the City Council approved an increase from 25 mph to 30 mph on Santiago between Irvine and Tustin avenues, to enable police to enforce the speed limit by use of radar. City staff has also been working on a neighborhood traffic management program.
The council meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in City Hall, 3300 Newport Blvd.
