Costly Move

* I cannot say that I am shocked that the U.S. Postal Service would be so bold as to spend $248,000 to move two top executives (April 14). Nor should I be surprised to learn that the total distance in those moves was 40 miles combined; yet, I am extremely upset! Any company that paid out this much money to move two executives would certainly have a lot to account for to its stockholders.
How is it that the post office that is concerned with customer service (as officials now want us to believe they are) would spend this much money and then ask the public to pay more for stamps? I don’t know about you, but the mail service that I receive is horrible. Civil servants have the best jobs; maybe we should all leave the corporate world and work for the government.
