The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Thursday:
BREA
* Wildcat Way: Malicious mischief was reported in the 780 block at 3:18 p.m. Wednesday.
* Wildcat Way: Obscene telephone calls were reported in the 780 block at 3:18 p.m. Wednesday.
CYPRESS
* Pitcairn Street: A prowler was reported in a home in the 6000 block at 12:53 a.m. Wednesday.
* Lincoln Avenue: A burglary was reported in the 5800 block at 3:24 p.m. Wednesday.
* Larwin Avenue: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 4800 block at 4:39 p.m. Wednesday.
FULLERTON
* East Commonwealth Avenue: A suspicious person was reported in the 200 block at 12:20 a.m. Thursday.
* South Lemon Street: Police responded to a report of a transient problem in the 1000 block at 12:40 a.m. Thursday.
* East Commonwealth Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 100 block at 4:22 p.m. Wednesday.
GARDEN GROVE
* Brookhurst Street: A report of petty theft in the 12900 block at 12:58 p.m. Wednesday.
LA HABRA
* East Bonnie Lane: Police responded to a report of animal cruelty in the 300 block at 11:16 p.m. Monday.
* South Hillcrest Street: An alarm went off in the 300 block at 8:28 p.m. Monday.
MISSION VIEJO
* Pacato Drive: A fraud in the 26300 block was reported at 11:48 a.m. Sunday.
* Trabuco Road: Deputies made a warrant arrest at 5:42 p.m. Saturday in the 27100 block.
ORANGE
* Chapman Avenue: A suspicious person was reported in the 2000 block at 7:57 p.m. Tuesday.
PLACENTIA
* Orange (57) Freeway at Orangethorpe Avenue: Police assisted Anaheim police in the case of a white Ford Explorer whose driver allegedly smashed several mail boxes. The driver stopped at the intersection of State College Boulevard and the Riverside (91) Freeway before moving into Anaheim at 4:47 a.m. Wednesday.
* Trumpet Avenue at Wagner Park: A 17-year-old male was harassing students in the 700 block and refused to leave when asked by school personnel. Police officers arrived and spoke with the teenager at 2:19 p.m. Wednesday.
SANTA ANA
* Clarissa Lane: A report of shots heard in the 14100 block at 6:58 p.m. Wednesday.
TUSTIN
* La Colina Drive: A suspicious person was reported in the 1000 block at 6:16 p.m. Wednesday.
VILLA PARK
* Sterling Avenue: A burglar alarm was triggered in the 10000 block at 9:01 a.m. Thursday.
WESTMINSTER
* Beach Boulevard: A suspicious person was reported in the 15400 block at 11:21 p.m. Wednesday.
YORBA LINDA
* Cherry Gate Lane: A petty theft from an automobile was reported in the 20400 block at 4:58 a.m. Wednesday.
Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach and Seal Beach.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department makes incident reports available on the Web. Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s unincorporated areas.
