The Nasdaq composite index may have tumbled 4.4% on Tuesday, but the venerable New York Stock Exchange also went to the dogs as Gidget the “talking” Chihuahua--known for the line “Yo quiero Taco Bell” in TV commercials--became the first animal to ring the opening bell. Her parent company’s stock, Tricon Global Restaurants (YUM), did nothing to bark home about: It gained 13 cents to close at $33.81 on the Big Board.
