The Heritage Committee will kick off its 2000 Heritage Month celebration from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Madison Square and Garden Cafe, 320 N. Coast Highway.
Mayor Kathleen Blackburn will give the welcoming address. The free event will feature hors d’oeuvres and music by the Girls Next Door, a swing band.
