2 Beaches Closed

The Orange County Health Care Agency closed Bayshore and Dover Shores beaches in Newport Beach to swimmers and divers Thursday due to a sewage spill, authorities said.
The spill, caused by a line blockage, will keep the beaches closed until the results of water quality tests meet acceptable standards, the agency said in a press release.
