Capitalizing on the presidency begs the question: Who is this man we elected? Harry Truman laid it on the line when he said of the opportunities that came his way after leaving office, “They don’t want me, they want the presidency, and the presidency of the United States is not for sale.” Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan and George Bush kissed off this idea and rode the presidency for the gold.
And they say Bill Clinton defiled the office.
