The new City Hall being designed for the corner of Marguerite Parkway and La Paz Road will feature a larger council chambers, a grand two-story entryway and a design similar to the Mission Viejo Library.
Jim Wirick, a principal at LPA Architects, the firm designing the facility, told the City Council on Monday that the City Hall would be like a sibling to the city library, which LPA designed as well.
The City Hall will be built using the same type of plaster and stone and will be capped with a similar copper roof.
