Review Wasn’t Music to His Ears

Re “Strauss With Visual Aids,” April 14:
The review of the Pacific Symphony’s performance with the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet was so poor and inaccurate that I would question whether Jack Robinson was, in fact, there. He spent most of his “review” obsessing over the supertitles and said nothing about the outstanding orchestral performance. His omission of the excellent soloists, Timothy Landauer and Robert Becker, is upsetting. His failure to mention an encore in the middle of the concert leads me to believe that he just wasn’t there.
