CNF Inc.’s Emery Worldwide air-freight unit will add services to help move cargo through customs in California, Arizona and Texas because of increasing trade between the U.S. and Mexico.
Emery’s customs-brokerage business next month will open offices in San Diego, the Tucson/Nogales area of Arizona and the Brownsville/McAllen area of Texas, the company said in a statement. Emery began the customs-brokerage business in 1976 and has 39 offices in the U.S. and Canada.
Shares of CNF rose 51 cents to close at $30.40 on the New York Stock Exchange.
