Praise for Migrants

I was dismayed, astounded and finally greatly amused to read that Mexico’s President Vicente Fox, at the Day of the Migrant celebration in Tijuana, “praised those who leave Mexico for a better life” (photo, Dec. 19). In effect, he’s saying that there’s nothing of value for many people in Mexico and that he’s not only pleased but very proud that they are getting the hell out. Amazing!
