Smith’s Late Husband Overspent, His Son Says

Anna Nicole Smith’s late oil-tycoon husband spent well outside his personal means to give the former Playboy playmate expensive presents, his son testified Friday.
Pierce Marshall, 63, said his father was unable to pay for $1 million worth of Harry Winston jewels. As a result, his father was sued by the jeweler, Marshall said.
It was Marshall’s second day of testimony in the battle over J. Howard Marshall II’s millions.
