Members Sought for ‘Vision 2020’ Panels

The city seeks volunteers to serve on eight committees that will help determine how Fillmore meets goals laid out in a 20-year vision plan adopted last year.

“Vision 2020,” a set of guidelines created with input from residents, covers education, civic pride, volunteering, communications, public safety, recreation, agriculture and economic growth.

The committees will develop short-term and long-term tasks related to reaching Vision 2020 goals, which focus on maintaining Fillmore’s civic pride and small-town ambience.
