A man and woman were tied up during a home invasion robbery early Wednesday by two armed men who ransacked their home, fired a warning shot and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and property, police said.
The man, 41, was moving his car into the garage about 2 a.m. when he was confronted by the gunmen, said Fountain Valley police Sgt. Jim Perry. They ordered him inside the home in the 18000 block of San Jose Street, where he and a 24-year-old woman were bound, Perry said. A 13-year-old boy in the house was not restrained.
Both intruders wore bandannas over their faces, said investigators, who described one man as 5 feet 11 inches tall and 160 pounds with dark hair, and the other as 5 feet 8, 170 pounds, also with dark hair.
Investigators ask anyone with information to call (714) 593-4485.
