Performers go on concert tours to stimulate record sales (among other reasons), and maybe it works. R&B; singer Jill Scott headlined the Universal Amphitheatre Feb. 22 and, in the sales week ending March 4, her debut album, which is No. 19 nationally, moved back into the Southern California Top 10.
