Superintendents Dishno and Cooper to Retire
- Share via
The Huntington Beach City School District is searching for a new superintendent after Duane Dishno announced he will retire at the end of the school year.
Dishno, who has headed the elementary school district for the last 10 years, will see his institution through a June 5 election for a $25-million school bond and then will begin “the next phase of my life.”
Ron Cooper, superintendent of the Fullerton School District, also recently announced his retirement.
These retirements bring to five the number of Orange County school districts that have lost superintendents this year.
