Child Support Changes to Be Topic at Forums

Two forums will be held to address public concerns and questions about forthcoming changes to Ventura County’s child support system.
As a result of state legislation, the administration of child support services will shift from the district attorney’s office to separate county departments.
Starting July 1, the Department of Child Support Services will operate from the existing child support office on Telephone Road in Ventura.
Director Stanley Trom will address questions at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the lower plaza of the Ventura County Government Center, 800 S. Victoria Ave., Ventura, and at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the East County Job and Career Center, 970 Enchanted Way, Simi Valley.
