Clinton Pollster Sells Company

WASHINGTON — The chief pollster for former President Clinton, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) and many other Democrats has sold his firm to the London-based consortium WPP Group PLC.
Mark J. Penn founded the firm--Penn, Schoen and Berland Associates--and gained attention as the pollster for Clinton’s 1996 presidential reelection campaign.
WPP Group’s many holdings include public relations giants Burson-Marsteller and Hill & Knowlton.
