From Times wire reports
Federal authorities said nearly 650 Middle Eastern men living in Michigan will be contacted for interviews as part of the federal terrorism investigation.
Michigan has one of the U.S.’ largest Arab American communities, with a population of about 350,000, most of them in the Detroit area.
The interviews have been decried by civil rights groups.
