A New York Stock Exchange seat sold for $2.3 million Tuesday, unchanged from the last sale in April.
Seat values can be affected by conditions such as U.S. stock prices and the amount of trading at the Big Board.
A seat sold for $2 million in February, and three seats sold at $2 million apiece in September and November, down from a record $2.65 million set in August 1999.
Another seat is now being offered at $2.6 million, and the highest bid is $2 million, according to the NYSE.
The 1,366 Big Board seats convey the right to trade at the exchange and vote at its meetings.
