Crowd Gets Rough After Olympic Ticket Wait

A crowd of 500 people who waited overnight in the cold for free tickets to concerts at the Winter Olympics Medals Plaza surged through the doors of a mall, leaving two women with minor injuries.
The women were injured Saturday around 6 a.m. at the Provo Towne Center Mall, where the Hallmark Gold Crown Store was giving away hundreds of tickets. The crowd had been lined up since 8 p.m. Friday.
Police were called to control the crowd and paramedics treated the women at the scene. No arrests were made.
