Music Center to Offer Free Master Classes

The Music Center is holding free Corwin Master Class programs with pianist Andre Watts (Feb. 16), conductor Franz Welser-Most (March 2) and violinist Pamela Frank (March 10).
The classes are aimed at students ages 16 to 25 who are planning professional symphonic careers, but they are open to anyone. They will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.
The first two will be held at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, 135 N. Grand Ave., in downtown L.A., and the third at the Colburn School of Performing Arts’ Zipper Hall, 200 S. Grand Ave., L.A.
