Jeff Brown has been appointed to fill an uncompleted term on the board of the North Orange County Community College District.
Brown, an engineer, will finish the term of Barry Wishart, who resigned in December. The seat comes up for election in November.
Brown, 45, was appointed Tuesday after the board interviewed seven candidates for the position.
Brown is a former student at Fullerton College, which along with Cypress College and the School of Continuing Education make up the district.
