A drive-by shooting Friday in South-Central Los Angeles left one man dead and two wounded, police said.
The attack in the 200 block of 88th Street was reported about 5:50 p.m., said Sgt. Henry Quan of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Southeast Division. A black Nissan Altima neared the address, and shots rang out, he said.
Three men were taken to hospitals, where one died during surgery. The men ranged in age from the mid-30s to the mid-60s, Quan said. It was unclear which one died.
The two wounded men were in stable condition. No arrests have been made.
