On Friday at 7:30 p.m., “Sound at the Schindler House” begins with “Sonatas and Interludes for Prepared Piano,” music by John Cage from 1946-48, performed by James Tenney. Built in 1921-22 by Modernist architect Rudolf M. Schindler, the architecturally and socially innovative house has long promoted artistic creativity.
