Laguna Playhouse Sets 2002-’03 Season

The Laguna Playhouse has announced its 2002-2003 season; five plays are world, U.S. or West Coast premieres.
The schedule: “Always, Patsy Cline,” by Ted Swindley, July 13-Aug. 11; “Jumping for Joy” by Jon Marans, Sept. 7-Oct. 6 (world premiere); “The Spitfire Grill,” musical by James Valq and Fred Alley, Nov. 2-Dec. 1 (West Coast premiere); “Lovers at Versailles,” by Bernard Farrell, Feb. 22-March 23, 2003 (U.S. premiere); “Mr. Shaw Goes to Hollywood,” by Mark Saltzman, April 5-May 4, 2003 (world premiere); and “Rounding Third,” by Richard Dresser, May 31-June 29, 2003 (West Coast premiere).
A seventh play, opening Jan. 4, 2003, will be announced.
