A 52-year-old Buena Park man died Thursday after being ejected from his car as it rolled over on the Santa Ana Freeway.
The name of the man was not released because his relatives had not been notified, said Officer Mark Reeves, a spokesman for the California Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred about 7:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes just north of Ball Road in Anaheim, Reeves said. The man was driving alone in a 1984 Volkswagen convertible and apparently lost control of the car, Reeves said. It ran up an embankment and rolled over.
The man was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he died an hour later from injuries to his head and stomach.
