Two Memphis players were suspended Wednesday for their role in a brawl during a game Monday against Arkansas Pine Bluff.
Guards Billy Richmond and Clyde Wade were suspended for one game.
Wade will miss Tuesday’s game against Arkansas Little Rock. Richmond, a transfer from Vanderbilt, will miss the first game in which he is eligible to play.
Richmond and Wade were among seven players ejected with 5:37 left in the first half after a scramble for a loose ball.
Arkansas Pine Bluff’s Antwan Emsweller earlier was suspended for a game by the NCAA.
Memphis won, 78-54.
