Library to Present Readings by Local Poets

The Ojai Library will begin a new poetry reading series Friday highlighting works by area writers.
The first installment of “Ojai Bards Year One” will begin at 7:30 p.m. and feature readings by Claudia Reder, Judy Oberlander, Vincent Mowrey, Vail Dinkins and Crystal Davis.
The poets also will discuss their work and answer questions from the audience.
The free series will continue Oct. 11 and Nov. 15. The library is at 111 E. Ojai Ave. For more information, call 646-1639.
