Music that is porn-star inspired

Charlotte Caffey of the Go-Go’s and Anna Waronker, formerly of That Dog, are writing music for a rock-theater production based on the life of Linda Lovelace, star of “Deep Throat.” Lovelace, who had renounced her adult-film past, died in an auto accident last year.

Former “Family Ties” child star Tina Yothers, a singer in L.A.’s club circuit for years, will play the lead in the production, set to premiere in showcase performances starting June 20 at the Theatre of NOTE in Hollywood. Steven McDonald (Waronker’s husband) is co-music director with bandmate Todd O’Keefe, with book and lyrics by Jeffrey Bowman.
